Mystery Solved

I have found the answer.  I know why this economy is tanking, and I didn't even have to contact numerous experts, study any complicated charts or research decades of historical records.  Greed.  That's what has done us in.  Nothing else but good old fashion greed.

911

I watched the 911 pentagon  memorial dedication on C Span today.  It was very moving and very well done.  I like C span because it doesn't interrupt what is happening with inane comments and commercials.   I feel sad for all the lives lost, but I feel angry that Bin Laden is still out there.  The USA should have concentrated on getting  Bin Laden, pursuing him and his cohorts relentlessly, until they found him.  No, instead, all we got was  a lot of wasted lives and time in Iraq.  Bottom line- Bin Laden wasn't there.  Today is a sad day, because of all the lives lost and the misuse of it's tragedy that this administration used for ill gains.  I shall pray for all the victims associated with this tragic day.

E I E I OOOOOO

Oink, oink here, oink oink there everywhere an oink oink.   Maybe McCain is too old to remember, but he used the phrase "lipstick on a pig" when talking about health care reform, when Senator Hilary Clinton was stating her case in the senate.  I admit it was a cheap shot for Obama to use the phrase yesterday, but on the other hand I find it amusing and clever that he  used the same phrase McCain used to test how the McCain camp will react when they receive a shot.   Palin's speech was catty.    Obama's remark was too.   Obama should stick to the high ground, driving home the terrible state of affairs that the republicans put the USA in and not wallow in the mud with the repiglicans.

No, No, Not Me

Nope, I'm not going to do it.  Even though I wanted to watch the opening ceremony for the Olympics.  I choose not to because the Chinese government treated their citizens badly in order to host these sport games.  I'm not going to list all that they did, but one thing they did was to re-route  the water from their rice fields in order to provide water for these games.  No wonder I kept reading about a rice shortage.  A rice shortage? I would ask myself.  Rice grows so fast.  This doesn't make sense.  AAhhh, maybe now it's making some sense.  The Chinese government treat their people like crap everyday.   It doesn't take a brainieack to know in order to put on a high cost sport's show, the Chinese government would turn to the abuse and sacrifice of their people.  What was the Olympic committee thinking when they awarded China this great honor?  I don't care how fast someone swims, runs or plays ball.  I care about the welfare of people.

Ho Hum

Well, if Ubers is gonna party, then so will I.   I'll find a fish fry in Wisconsin,  oh yeah, you heard me, wild Wisconsin.   Now we'll see who has more of a wild time.  And don't make me tell the "others" about your slutty attire you wear to fish frys, Little Ms. Cupcakes.   I bet you that old Mr. Ropert look a like is still dreaming of you, echoing the infamous words "oh, it's so hot in here".
