What Next

First it was the utilities. Then it was the gas. Now it's the grocery store. Gouge gouge gouging us with their greed. If that isn't bad enough, they want us all to work for pennies. That is, if you have a job.

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

I met a turkey gobbler, when I went out to play
Oh Mr. Turkey Gobbler how are you today?

Gobble, gobble, gobble, that I can not say
Don't ask me such a question, on Thanksgiving Day!

Ya Never Know

She was suddenly gripped by the shoulders and flung down the deep pre dug cemetery plot hole. Her head hit a small rock as her limbs landed twisted at odd angles. She was able to straightened out her legs and lift her upper body and head, just as the first clumps of dirt fell upon her. She knew it would be foolish to open her mouth and cry out. The dirt would choke her screams. Even though she felt dizzy and nauseous, she struggled to get to her feet. The dirt was now falling faster over her as she searched for a way to climb out of the grave. About 2 feet above her, she saw a large tree root, sticking out of the side of the grave wall. Would it hold? She grabbed hold of the root, but it slime made it slip through her hands. Even as the dirt continued to rain down on her, she was able to take off her shirt and put them on her hands as make shift gloves. Grabbing hold of the root, she started to climb out of the hole. She was almost to the top when the tip of the shovel gnashed into her head. She laid in the dirt. She knew death would soon be upon her. She felt the blood gush over her eye. She felt and smelled the heavy dirt on her weakened body. As she lay there, she was only conscious of her final thoughts in the final moments of her life. She never knew he would react in such an irrational, diabolical manner. All she did, after all, was throw out his crocs.
